A family run country inn and restaurant situated approximately 1 mile from Crickhowell on the A40 towards Brecon within the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. The building dates back to the 16 century and still retains many of the original features including a cider press and mill stone situated in the restaurant. The Inn caters for both gastropub type meals in the bar and lounge and more formal a la carte dining in the Mill Room restaurant. All food is fresh and cooked to order and where possible the ingredients are sourced locally, especially the meat, poultry and game which comes from a farm a mere 6 miles from the Inn. Real ales, various ciders and an extensive wine cellar are available for the thirsty traveller.
